Felted Hare Only - Four Weeks
October 18th - November 15th, 2024
The Felted Hare is a six-week class on faerie-making and felting. Alternatively, you may join the last four weeks only to make a leaping hare and nature elements without the figure. The focus in this class is on bringing a sense of movement into your wool sculpture. You will learn how to make a wire armature for a larger animal, needle felting techniques for building form and creating a sense of movement. There are instructions for two different leaping hares.
Materials are not included in the course fee. A comprehensive resource list will be emailed upon registration, detailing where to find materials in Canada, the US, Australia, and the UK.
This intermediate-level class is designed for individuals with some prior needle felting experience.
New lessons will be released every Friday, with an estimated 3-6 hours of work recommended each week. You can progress through the modules at your own pace, as you will have permanent access to the course. Weekly Zoom meetings will be held on Sundays to review work and address questions.
Please read through the FAQ.
