A six-week course in Faerie making & needle felting
FULL CLASS — FAERIE & LEAPING HARES
October 2nd - November 15th, 2026
The full class begins with two weeks of faerie-making. You will create a hand-sewn faerie before moving into four weeks of felting, where you will bring your own leaping hare to life in wool and natural fibres.
LEAPING HARES ONLY
October 16th - November 15th, 2026
Join for the four-week Leaping Hare journey. You'll learn to sculpt a large animal over a wire armature and bring your own hare to life with wool, natural fibres and woodland details.
This class focuses on bringing a sense of movement and character into your felting. You’ll learn how to construct a wire armature for a larger animal, build and sculpt the form with needle felting, and use wool to create texture and woodland detail. There are instructions for two different leaping hare poses, so you can choose the one that speaks to you.
Materials are not included in the course fee. A comprehensive resource list will be emailed upon registration, detailing where to find materials in Canada, the US, Australia, and the UK.
This is an intermediate-level class and is designed for those with some prior needle-felting experience.
