Yearlong Creative Mentorship with Lavender & Lark

Over the past ten years, I have had the privilege of watching students develop their own creative voices and practices. I have long been interested in offering a more sustained form of support through mentorship.

I am  delighted to offer a year-long mentorship programme for felters who wish to develop their creative voice and technical confidence.

I am opening a small mentorship programme for fibre artists who would value ongoing creative guidance and want to develop their creative voice and technical confidence. Because this is a very personal programme, I will be working with only two artists each year.

Over the course of a year, this mentorship supports you in developing a deeper and more confident creative practice.

This mentorship is for those who:

• Have some experience with fibre and felt but want to deepen their skills.

• Want to develop their own creative voice through artistic exploration.

• Would like regular guidance and accountability for creative projects.

• Are working toward a body of work, exhibition, or personal creative goal.

What the Year Includes

Over the course of the year we will meet fortnightly via Zoom for private one-to-one sessions. Between sessions you are welcome to send occasional emails to share progress or ask a question about your work. More detailed feedback and discussion will take place during our scheduled sessions.

Creative Guidance & Studio support:

• 40 minute Zoom calls every two weeks; that is 24 one-on-one mentorship sessions.

• Dedicated time focused entirely on your work

• Project planning

• Technical felting support

• Artistic exploration and accountability throughout the year

• Feedback and critique

By the end of the year, you will have deepened your creative confidence, refined your felting practice, and begun developing a body of work.

Is This the Right Fit?

This programme is intentionally small and reflective; it is a year of artistic companionship and mentorship. Our sessions will work best when you come with curiosity, ideas, and a willingness to experiment. Founding Cohort Rate: $1700 USD

*There is an option to pay for the programme in two instalments.
