This class will walk you through creating a cast of characters and a felted faerie door with different seasonal elements. The lessons are all prerecorded and can be worked through at your own pace, with weekly Zooms for sharing work, discussing ideas and asking questions.

Learn how to hand-sewing a natural-fibre Faerie doll around a wire armature, giving the Faerie the ability to be softly repositioned
Week Two:
We will delve into Faerie costuming through wet-felting and hand sewing, learn to hand-dye wool locks for hair, create tattered wings, and felt toadstool caps.
Week Three:
Construct a felted tree and Faerie door inside a wooden box, and explore different techniques for forming moss and bark from a range of natural fibres.
Week Four:
Learn how to wet felt autumn leaves, chestnuts, and felt fungi and mice.
Week Five:
Along with felted snow, frozen pond, snowman, holly branch, we will stitch tiny toboggans & skis for your faeries or forest creatures, and felt a hedgehog.
Week Six:
Create felted sweet peas and an apple blossom branch with a tiny hummingbird nest and bird. You’ll also make amanita and morel toadstools, and a small tree stump table and stools using both wet and needle felting techniques.
